2. Plastic Cases
a. Pros – Plastic cases as mentioned earlier lasts longer than fabric sleeves. Since plastic is more durable than fabric you can save more money by purchasing a great case for your device. In addition, cases are around your device 24/7 which means your Mac is protected all day and all night. So wherever you put your device or wherever you carry it to, your Mac is safe.
Cases are great shock absorbers. This accessory’s firmness and tight fit can take the majority of the impact. So whether it hits something really hard or it if it falls on the ground the device gets little damage. In addition, plastic is water proof so you can avoid any damage caused by accidental splashes or drips.
b. Cons – Low quality plastic cases can be rough on your device. A loose case can potentially scratch your device while you carry it around. It can also collect dirt and other dust which can accumulate over time only adding damage to the Mac. Cases also tend to cover up the device which for those who already enjoy the look of the Mac finds it unnecessary.
Unlike sleeves, cases are always on your Mac so you cannot do much about it while it is on. So if you get tired of it, removing the case and putting it back on can be a hassle.
